PERSONAL INFORMATION

The undersigned person hereby enrols as a part time student for a program or course at Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy. It is understood that the tuition fees are payable upon signing this enrolment contract. I certify that I have read and understand this enrolment contract.

Richard Robinson Academy of fashion design agrees to supply the course to the student in this contract unless the minimum number of students has not been reached. In this instance, the student may transfer to another course, transfer the fees to another session.

  • A student that cancels a course 30 days before the beginning date of the course will be charged a $50
    penalty fee and the balance of tuition will be refunded.

  • A student that cancels less than 30 days before the beginning of a course, a penalty of 50% of tuition
    fees will be charged and the remaining of tuition fees will be refunded.

  • Once classes have started, there is no refund.

  • If you have opted for a payment plan, please note that refunds are not available at any stage. However, you have the option to submit a request for a credit, which can be applied towards a future date.

This is a 90 hour course given over 30 weeks on Fridays from 9:30am to 12:30pm at 419 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

This Men's Tailoring Course is tailored for individuals who already have foundational skills in sewing and tailoring and wish to refine their expertise in creating bespoke menswear. This course delves deeper into the intricacies of high-end tailoring, focusing on advanced techniques, precision, and the artistry of custom tailoring.Upon course completion, you'll confidently draft patterns across various styles and comprehend pattern labeling for streamlined production processes.

Supplies needed (all supplies sold at the school):

Drafting:

  • Tracing paper, mechanical pencil, 30cm ruler, square ruler, measuring tape, scotch tape, paper scissors, and bristol board for finished blocks;

Sewing:

  • Thread and hand sewing needles, straight pins, tailors chalk, fabric scissors, and 2 metres of muslin.
