What to Expect:
As a Fashion Design student, you'll enjoy 21 hours of class per week, along with approximately 30 hours of independent study and homework. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to showcase your original designs at our Grande Première—a large, annual fashion show held in May that highlights the collections of our talented students in their first and second year.
Program Prerequisites:
High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification (Mature Student Status)
Successful completion of our admissions exam

Tuition:
Our program offers a competitive tuition rate of $4,775 per semester, delivering outstanding value for a premier education in fashion design. This fee also includes a starter package, equipping students with essential materials to create professional samples.

Financial Aid:
Our Full-Time Fashion Designer and Couturier programs are approved as Vocational Programs under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Students enrolled in Full Time programs may be eligible, if qualified, for loans, grants or awards granted under the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Please see their website for details: http://osap.gov.on.ca

First Year of the Fashion Designer Program
Fashion Sketching : 6hrs/week - Perfect fashion figure drawing using various mediums such as watercolor, pencil, and marker.
Pattern Making : 6hrs/week - Develop essential skills like Pattern Making and technical drawing using Adobe Illustrator.
Haute Couture Sewing : 6hrs/week - Master intricate sewing techniques and high-end garment crafting.
Textiles (Jan-April) : 3hrs/week- Experiment with fabric manipulation, dyeing techniques, and sourcing, gaining a strong foundation in textiles.
History of Fashion (Sept-Dec) : 3hrs/week - Study the evolution of fashion, examining key historical movements, influential designers, and cultural shifts that have shaped modern style and Haute Couture.

Second Year of the Fashion Designer Program
Fashion Sketching : 3hrs/week - Advanced fashion figure drawing using various mediums such as watercolor, pencil and marker.
Pattern Making : 6hrs/week - Develop more advanced skills in Pattern Making and technical drawing.
Haute Couture Sewing : 6hrs/week - Sew and develop an intricate collection using haute couture techniques.
Marketing : 3hrs/week - Focus on promoting your brand through market analysis, branding, consumer behavior, and trend forecasting.
Stretch Fabrics : 3hrs/week - Master knit fabrics by understanding their structure, stretch, and fashion applications, while refining techniques for selecting, cutting, and sewing
Final Collection: Consists of at least 5 full looks, One collection book and a presentation in front of a panel of judges.
